This site contains links to material relevent to my professional life. I'm an IT generalist with experience in a range of disciplines and technologies but probably best known for my involvement in relational databases such as Oracle and MySql and for my software development activities at Quest Software.

I'm the author of Oracle SQL High Performance Tuning, Oracle Desk Reference and MySql Stored Procedure Programming (with Steven Feuerstein). I also write monthly columns at Database Trends and Applications and at ToadWorld.

I'm currently employed as a Chief Architect for Database Solutions at www.quest.com, where I created the popular Spotlight family of products. I lead a software development team in Melbourne who are responsible for the Spotlight core technologies and for Spotlight on Oracle, Spotlight on Oracle RAC, Spotlight on MySQL and Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
